Our story,
Rodica is the name of a 1966 m high mountain in the Julian Alps. It is known for its magnificent views, all the way to the sea in fine weather, and for its beautiful flowering planika and marshmallow. Love, life, work and relaxation in the mountains are part of who we Slovenians are. It is part of the tradition of our ancestors, who lived so connected to nature that they named their homes after their favourite mountain. The villa has been in the family since 1906. In 2019, we decided to renovate the villa and share part of it with you. It has been restored with respect for our heritage, so the building itself and its façade retain their historical authenticity and authenticity. Villa Rodica has been restored in the spirit of sustainable development, more rational and environmentally friendly energy consumption, while offering a better quality of life. We have worked with Slovenian companies, local craftsmen and local materials.

It offers beautiful views of the lake, the small island on the lake and the surrounding mountains. The villa is located a 5-minute walk from the lake, 8 minutes from the train station and 15 minutes from Bled Castle. There are countless hiking trails within easy reach.
Treat yourself to a stay in one of the three luxury apartments, Jezero, Rodica or Stol, which are furnished in a minimalist style with natural materials. In winter, you can warm up by the fire in the fireplace after cross-country skiing, skiing or hiking, while the sauna is a welcome addition in all seasons. The apartments are spacious and can accommodate 2-4 people (couples or a family of 4).
